There are a few things my kids know for certain about their mother. One of those things is that she loves to take pictures. At first, it was fun. They loved to say cheese and do their best poses. Now, Kaliese tolerates it at best and Braedyn is cooperative when he is dressed as a superhero. But when they are in their Sunday best or I want a great picture of them together, its Mission Impossible.
But they don't know the secret trick. While I don't get full face shots, the results are still just as beautiful. Lucky for me, my children have great profiles! LOL!
Sometimes the perfectly posed pictures can seem a little forced. These shots are definitely more natural and therefore result in a warmer feel. So when I look back 20 years from now I can see a more sincere love of a brother and sister rather than a forced "Mom made me sit here" look on their face. And after all, that's really what I want to remember just as much as their faces!
Even this one, with her hair a complete mess, just makes me smile!

Love how sweetly timeless these shots are :)
Your kiddos are beautiful! Love the pic of her holding the flower
Some great shots. That second to last photo is beautiful. I love the post processing you did.
Adorable shots! I love the smile in that last one!
I love the messy haired one: it's just a great capture.
I love the processing that you used on the first shots -- so soft and sweet looking!
I love the second to the last photo, but they are all wonderful. Not too hard with such wonderful subjects, I'm sure!
